From 2012 - 2015 I was redrawing this piece every year but fell off after that. It was really fun revisiting this again after so long! When I did the original I remember being really fond of the concept but not happy with how it turned out. The original was one of my most popular WC pieces for a long time and it frustrated me for ages. I think fifteen year old Ivy would be pretty darn happy with where our art is now. :)

Took some design ques from Nifty-senpai's designs, particularly on Half Moon.

Sky's Stone, mother of Moon's Half, Star's Frost and Sun's Fire, Ancient Cats' Leader before Sun's Fire and Moon's Half, was always there to comfort her group when going through the horrors that led to their exile

Moon's Half / Teller of Moon's Stones, First Teller and founder of the Tribe Of Rushing Water, She is Blind in this Au

Star's Frost, reincarnated into both Lightning Tail and Scourge, fought against the kittypets who poisoned water in the lake's territory

Sun's Fire, Ancient Cats' Leader before the death of his mate, he stepped down and gave his title to his sister, he is also the father of Lion's Roar and Breeze's Whisper, reincarnated into both Thunder and Firestar

Jay's Wing, Guided the Ancient Cats along side his mate, Moon's Half, to the mountain, then dissappeared during a snow storm, reincarnated into Jayfeather

Dove's Feather, sister to Jay's Wing, kept looking for him after he dissappeared, reincarnated into Dovewing

Lion's Roar, slayed many of the ancient mountain lions living in the mountain, wanting to make them safe for his tribe, reincarnated into Lionblaze

Breeze's Whisper, killed many eagles, hawks and such, to make sure the mountain where safe to their tribe, reincarnated into Breezepelt

Holly's Thorn, the one to propose the vote to choose whenever to leave the lake territories or not, Sister to Ivy's Sting, reincarnated into Hollyleaf

Ivy's Sting, the one who found out about the kittypet's plan to kill all ancient cats, reincarnated into Ivypool
